The second preview of our four voices comes from the founder of Hope + Glory Ric Dennis. As a brand dedicated to improving sustainability in football, Ric is making sure that he is able to do all he can to avoid contributing to the problem faced by polyester shirts and the manufacturing of them. It is fair to point out that becoming sustainable in all areas is a very difficult task, but Hope + Glory ensure they do what they can, where they can. To do so, they think creatively as to how they can minimalise the carbon footprint they may produce in the logistics of producing a football kit. The EcoKit is a hugely beneficial initiative, but the logistics produces a carbon footprint with manufacturing taking place over seas in China and Pakistan. Both are ensured they run ethically, with the site in Pakistan solely dedicated to production for Hope + Glory. As a result, Hope + Glory are in partnership with a company named SkyNet in order to help them reduce their carbon footprint. LISTEN to this clip from our interview with Ric Dennis as he speaks on this partnership with SkyNet:
