Being one of the first in the football community to do so, Hope and Glory introduced their sustainable EcoKit initiative in the 20/21 season. Since, around 70% of the partnerships between Hope and Glory and non -league clubs includes the EcoKit. With a consciousness to not sit back and contribute to the increasing plastic pollution crisis, the creative EcoKit goes through a process beginning at the used plastic bottle. From a used plastic bottle, and after various stages, the EcoKit is produced. From a reduction in the carbon footprint to successfully recycling plastic waste, it is an initiative that is making a difference in making football more sustainable, and making the ability to be environmentally friendly more affordable for clubs lower in the football pyramid.
Rather then provide a long step by step process, scan the below poster to find out more about the manufacturing of the EcoKit, thanks to and inspired from Hope and Glory. Take a look at their website here.
